The senior staff employed by Woolworths Lanyon and just to name a few, Beccy, Marion, and Sharon are always helpful, friendly and professional. The store aisles are well spaced, fully stocked and clean. It is a pleasure to shop there, compared to another Woolworths store which I recently visited.
Staff aren’t friendly especially the people doing the stock makes shopping uncomfortable. Will literally walk in your way and give you glares while trying to shop, I worked at Coles and we always kept out of the way and apologised to customers and we certainly didn’t give dirty looks to people cause they think they’re better.I can also bet the other reviews with the rude lady doing shelves is the same one ( blonde 30s) that gives me nasty glares, if you hate customers that much get a different job.
Things seem to be a lot more expensive at this Woolworths than others as I travel full-time working for tourism around Australia. These eggs cost me $24 for 18 eggs at 1.5 kilos. As you can see in the photo I can buy 2.1 kilos of eggs at aldi so a lot more in weight for $19. This is price gouging to the max. I know there's a problem with eggs at the moment, but the chickens around Canberra must be wearing gold necklaces and diamond earrings. I've been a Loyal Woolworths Conder Customer for many years and I would like to Compliment the Management Team and their Employees for their Excellent Customer Service... In particular, I was very impressed with young McKenzie's energetic mannerism in the self serve area as well as Andrew, who has amazing charisma and always goes out of his way to ensure customers are happy. They can not keep track of their inventory. I can't reliably buy soy milk every time I shop. Once those 10 bottles in the single file in the freezer are gone, you need to come back another day to get your soy milk. Mentioned this to the staff on a few occasions, but you try to find someone who cares in this joint.
