I’ve always liked using the self-checkout and have been using it since it first came out. Recently though, I keep getting locked out and needing staff assistance. In the past, it usually happened if something was double-scanned or if I pressed the wrong button by mistake, which I understand. But lately it’s been happening much more often for no clear reason, and it makes me feel like I’m being treated as if I’m stealing. It’s become frustrating enough that I’ll probably start lining up for staffed checkouts instead.

We have been doing our shopping at Bullcreek for many years, the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. We nearly always buy sourdough bread from the bakery which is not cheap, because the sourdough is not sliced or usually sliced too thick we try to get it sliced. There is one huge problem in the bakery and its not the staff, the slicing machine is normally out of order and upon asking we were told it is always breaking and its quality is quite inferior. Worst customer service I have ever seen. At 8am 31/3 in the bakery department. A young Aussie tall girl had a horrible attitude and does not know how to behave or serve customers. All she does is roll her eyes multiple times and stare and groan not like she is at work. Yesterday, there was not a single bread cut at it was only 4, which is very annoying as this is basic necessity to just do your job properly.
