Woolworths customers do not have to scan their own items whether they have 1 item or 101 items. I was ambushed while collecting a bag to purchase from the express checkout advising everything was closed except self serve. Yes, I could see everything was closed at 8.30pm. This Woolworths is one of the worst for poor service, however many provide poor service expecting the customer to scan their own shopping after a long day at work.
