Awful customer service. Staff who stock shelves are arrogant and aggressive, blocking aisles, jostling customers, throwing boxes around regardless of who is in the way, leaving empty boxes on the floor as tripping and slipping hazards. Front of store staff aren't much better. They seem to be more interested in chatting in the aisles with their colleagues than in paying attention to people who need help at the self service registers. Woolworths Bondi is always a great place to shop — the store is clean, well‑organised, and easy to get around, even during busy times. Shelves are usually well stocked, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and efficient. I also want to mention Sierra, who I regularly see at the cashier. Why are the options so limited? I can almost never find what I’m looking for here. This isn’t some quiet location either, it’s right in the middle of Bondi Road. I’m constantly forced to go all the way to Junction.
So much better before Woolies took it over. Definitely for the traveler rather than shopping for the family. Often out of stock for certain items. Often a long que to the mostly automated checkout. I only ever visit here when absolutely necessary.
