We visited Woolworths Aspley a few weeks back and we had the pleasure of being served at the check out by the lovely Leanne. It has been so long since we had such a good check out experience. Leanne immediately came across as warm and welcoming. She had such a friendly vibe to her and engaged with our 4 year old son so naturally. Not only was she delivering 130% customer service, she was also very efficient in packing all the items and scanned everything correctly (which is not always the case with the mushrooms!). Great clean store friendly staff, always plenty of stock available.
I walked up to the front counter at about 8am. I asked a simple question with a smile "could you please check to see if the credit ad on top ups are available at the Counter" her response, I don't know. I asked for her to check the till for me and was met with some of the most rude and disrespectful attitude from a child I have ever seen, and I have met kids from juvi. She had her back to the me I had to call out to get attention cause she was too busy cleaning her nails and talking to another staff member. Staff like her sh... read more
Good place to shop. Just one thing, I wish the front staff near check outs smiled more and looked more awake and like they wanted to be in their jobs. Also, trying to get anyone to help of the floor is a bit hard most of the times, I tried to get a young staff member’s attention to ask where a product was, he had an ear piece in his ear and I had to follow him half way around the store raising my voice slightly more to get his attention.
