I'm truly disappointed in the quality of the fresh produce. For just 2 months of the year you get to enjoy Sumo Mandarins and they're not cheap. One would think they'd keep an eye on the quality. I've given up buying them from this store. I'd rather travel to Ararat or Horsham where the quality seems to be far better. I don't need to search through them to make sure they're not mouldy.
I often shop at this Woolworths. I had a terrible shopping experience today. I took a 1kg bag of avocados as usual and it was $5. When I checked out, I noticed this generation of avocados didn't have a barcode. So I asked their staff for help. The male staff counted the avocados in the bag and wanted to sell me the avocados that were originally sold at a price of $5 per bag for $13.5.
