Dr. Wilson has zero personality. After performing cataract surgery he refused to provide follow-up for macular degeneration. I have requested multiple times for a referral to another facility. The office said they would send the referral, but after 5 months of requesting, they still have not sent a referral. This has forced me to pay for another examination by a ophthalmologist in order to refer me to a retina specialist who requires a referral. I'm bitter.
Dr. Woolfson is excellent! He is jovial and friendly with an atmosphere that helps a patient to relax during the procedure. I had my Lasik eye surgery done for myself in 2009. This surgery was for my adult son. Both surgeries have had excellent results and freed us from having glasses or contacts. Now awaiting to get the surgery done for my husband, also with Woolfson Eye Institute. Highly recommend!
Went for consultation reference cataract surgery, the consultation went smoothly and surgery was scheduled for January 13. I was told to start taking eyedrops on January 10 three days prior to the surgery and I would receive a call before the surgery to go over everything. On January 10 I had not heard anything from woolfson institute so I called and got a lady on the phone in Atlanta ga who advised me the surgery had been canceled for January 13 and rescheduled for the end of January. I had a great experience getting LASIK at Woolfson Eye Clinic! The staff was friendly and informative. Dr. Woolfson was accessible, answered all of my questions, and the procedure was successful, quick and painless. As someone who wore glasses from age 7 until my mid-30s, it’s been incredible to be glasses-free. I’d recommend Woolfson Eye to anyone considering LASIK!
