Woodlands residence is such a lovely place, everytime I’ve visited I have really enjoyed spending time with the residents and the staff. From the managers to the kitchen staff, carers, reception staff I can see that all members of staff put so much time and effort into the residents. When visiting woodlands I have always noticed it’s clean, well maintained and always smelling and looking fresh. The residents always have an amazing itinerary and so much to do from singers to quiz mornings and bbqs!

Mum moved into Woodlands just over a year ago from Cornwall after Dad passed away unexpectedly after 70years marriage. She had been there for over 40 years & left many friends behind sadly. Mum took a while to settle in however the friendly & caring staff understood her needs & helped her settle in. She has her own en suite bedroom with an electric bed & also pressure pads for nursing support. Mum in nearly blind so had additional needs which have been managed for her needs. Woodlands really is a lovely care home, both my parents have been there since August 2024 & they are very happy there. I feel happy in the knowledge that they are very well looked after & I don't need to worry anymore, as they are in very capable hands. I can visit at any time during the day/ evening, without having to make an appointment. The staff really are wonderful, caring, friendly & hard working. My Mother started living at Woodlands in December 2024 . From living on her own for 18 years we were worried about how she might adapt to living with others. From day one she really seemed to settle in . She later explained that she feels reassured and safe . This is exactly what my husband and I were hoping for . We visit regularly as we live in Fleet . I feel I have to write and praise Woodlands after seeing a very misleading review! My parents have both been here for 18 months and I cannot fault the staff, care, comfort, entertainment and food. The staff go above and beyond even with family members. I highly recommend.
