I really wish I had more positive things to say about this place, because the location itself is beautiful and has so much potential. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The trail guides appeared inexperienced and struggled to manage the horses, which did not seem fit for trail riding. I have been a student of Woodlands for quite some time now, and while they were getting my money, customer service was great. But I faced the issue that roughly every second class of mine would get cancelled, whether it was weather, horses whatever. I could bare it, but then trainers started leaving too frequently and it got to a point where I simply couldn't progress. So I decided to cut my term halfway through request a refund. Woodlands was great, from communication over email to the overall experience. Shan was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back!
I booked a 10 week session. It’s absolutely amazing! The horses are well trained. I get to know the personality of different horses. My trainer Zoe is super lovely, very clear with instructions and very caring towards the horses too.
