So you want an honest review when you read about care homes especially when it's your loved one going there. This is my honest review. 4 stars because as you read on youll see things i didn't like but understand why it was done. As a family of many carers i think it was hard for us to adjust to how they do things in woodland villa. I spent time in hospital due to having my left leg amputated then I got moved to woodland villa very nice care home and very lovely staff moved in there 4th December 2024 enjoyed my stay the staff and care workers was excellent very supportive and very friendly thankyou to all the nurses and staff for looking after me thankyou Tony x x
After a week in hospital the Occupational Therapy Team recommended that my mother was placed in to residential care at Woodland Villa prior to her return to home. My mother cannot praise the care she has received from the homes nursing, and administration staff, highly enough. We recently supported this home in training some of their staff to work in a new CHAP's role, this really showcases their commitment to patient safety and high standards of care delivery. The team we trained were caring and supportive and will be a great asset to the home! Great work guys :)
