My mother-in-law resides at this facility. She hasn't been there a month and we are currently working on having her removed. This is by far the most disgusting, substandard business, let alone nursing home facility I've ever encountered. While visiting the room we've seen soiled adult undergarments left on the floor and laying in the rooms wastebasket which was overflowing. I do believe that's a bio-hazard, correct me if I'm wrong. Kaelyn and Crew have created a friendly, inviting experience for the Residents at Woodland. All of our needs and requests are taken care of in a professional and rapid manner. I would recommend Woodland to anyone who is looking for Independent or Assisted Living for a Loved One.
Moved my Parents to Woodland about 10months ago. Dad has Alzheimer’s, Mom lives independently and is on a walker. I caution you to do your homework!! My parents do not and have not been getting the services they are paying for!!! I mean basic services like housekeeping and laundry that are supposed to be included in the rent fee. It took 7 months of no housekeeping in place for 2 housekeepers to finally be hired. They are so overloaded that IF they get in to clean it is the bare minimum. Moved my Parents to Woodland in Lacey a few months ago, the staff is very friendly and they truly care about the residents there. HOWEVER.., there is currently no bus transport for these residents of any kind, there are no housekeeping services or laundry getting done on a regular basis and if they do it at all it gets all thrown together in one load and comes back damp. I recently visited Woodland with a family member considering her living options. We were presented with a pricing sheet and the least expensive option on the assisted living side was $4600 (for a studio), however this did not include any care! The care “packages” are a separate cost and the lowest level of care is $660 per month for *up to* 15 hours of care per month.
