I came for a massage on the intake form I indicated the areas of concern and only received about 10 minutes of massaging in the actual area. The rest of my 40 minute massage was all over the place. My legs received more attention than my shoulders. I ended up being in more pain in my back and shoulders since all the 10 minutes did was irritate the area and bring the knots I had to life. Extremely rude front desk personell. No humility whatsoever.
Very mixed feelings about this spa. Sadly one bad experience kind of affected my trip, but there were a lot of things I loved about Woodhouse. The lounge room, complimentary drinks before and after, and my facial was great. The people were all very sweet and caring about our experience. I did the salt room and that was nice and relaxing. Then I had the Shirodhara scalp massage, which sadly ended up being a horrible experience.
