I used to love banking here, but in the last several months, employee retention has been extremely low. I can not depend on the bank being open nor the ATM being available, even for night deposits. I recently received a letter that this branch was closing, and I could utilize the branches in Jasper or Corydon. This is very inconvenient to drive 45 minutes or an hour every week to do banking. HORRIBLE BANK Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! closing account once there is an employee at the branch who is capable of doing it.
This bank has no full time employees and has not had any since November of 2023. This means it might be open, but it might not be. This is subject to change from day to day. I am going to another bank with actual employees. Good luck to anyone who either chooses to still bank here, or anyone who opens up an account.
I am a minor and am under my moms account, I came in asking to cash a check. When I asked I got laughed at and was talked down on. This reaction was uncalled for and they could have been kinder.
They are very supportive and helpful as well as friendly. Switched from Wells Fargo and I'm am here to say I'm glad I did. They do what they say their gonna do.
