Very nice bank
Had awful experience with Woodforest Bank from the beginning. The bank was constantly locking my debit card even when it was a bill set to be paid. But the final straw was a friend sent me a $2,000 check, he did this once in a while and I always deposited into this bank. I deposited and it sat for the required 7 business days until it cleared. I went to get the money out and there was a woman standing around that I never seen before. I asked if she could help me, my card was again locked, so she unlocked my card. So I waited... read more
Originally I absolutely loved this bank and the employees I interacted with. Unfortunately our account was charged for things we were told it would not be and when we addressed it , they didn't seem to care and brushed it off like it was nothing. They were super friendly and helpful/knowledgeable when opening the acct but when we asked to explain these charges , they suddenly were anything but that.
