Great Food, Souviners & Learning Class This is a great place to go if you like Scandinavian food or items. They have food (Cheese, Mayo, Kaviar, Juice, Crackers, Cookies, Chocolate, etc) & Souviner items all from Scandinavia. You can learn how to "Rose-Mail" (paint) or they have language classes there. I have attended the Language classes and they are taught by a Norweigan woman ... read more

A welcome bit of Scandinavia in Plano The Wooden Spoon is the best of many worlds. On one side of the shop is a wonderful selection of gift items, including shoes, shirts, jewelry and books. On the other, a tasty selection of foods items. I've fallen in love with the cheeses and am looking for an excuse to try the swedish meatballs. Not just a store, The Wooden Spoon also offers classes (language, painting, handicrafts). This is a one-of-a-kind store and worth a visit, even for those of us who can't claim a family connection... read more

The shop is very nice and it is located in a nice older house. The staff was friendly and offered muchhelp in finding soemthing for my Grnadmother to remember. They have a huge line of gifts and foods and there is also language classes if you are intererst. Other classes offered ar art and handiwork. I would reccommend this store to anyone.
