My experience spans the Downingtown store location, woodcraft website, and woodriver products. We ordered the woodriver floating shelf brackets based on the recommendations of a sales associate. The store has a printed out placard stating these require ⅜ lag bolts to fasten to the wall, and the employee also stated so. We first special ordered the 22” heavy duty brackets. I haven't been to an Honest-to-God Craftsman's store since I was a little girl. Both of my grandfather's had fully operational shops in their homes and my weekends were spent between lumber yards, hardware stores and Craftsman Suppliers. Everything about the experience was nostalgic. The staff were delightful, personable, and knowledgeable. Drew and his guys here are always great, friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, and always able to impart piece of wisdom from the craft every time I swing through.
Went to the store today. My 3rd time. All 3 of the gentlemen working there this afternoon provided me with fantastic service. I had a lot of questions and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. This store is one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. The store is well merchandised and well stocked. You don't need to know what products you need, just go there and tell the guys what you want to do. They know everything.
