I recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a bike shop thinking they need to travel some ungodly miles just to find one. This place might just be closer than you think, and a gem indeed.

He can’t to our rescue! As we were on a four day bike trip. Day 1: from Chicago to Aurora Day 2: to Richmond IL … then flat tire with no pump and no place to buy a pump with a presta valve. We got hold of him at 8pm and he delivered it the 15+ miles to our hotel. And only charged us $40 for the floor pump and would not accept ANYTHING ($0) for his time, trouble, gas. Just a reminder that the world is sweet. On to Day 3!
