He can’t to our rescue! As we were on a four day bike trip. Day 1: from Chicago to Aurora Day 2: to Richmond IL … then flat tire with no pump and no place to buy a pump with a presta valve. We got hold of him at 8pm and he delivered it the 15+ miles to our hotel. And only charged us $40 for the floor pump and would not accept ANYTHING ($0) for his time, trouble, gas. Just a reminder that the world is sweet. On to Day 3!
Needed help with my derailer on my giant trance x . It's a local small business near me so I swung by and within 8 minutes the owner had my bike shifting properly . Tons of BMX inventory and accessories like chains pedals ECT. If your ever in the area check them out! Would highly recommend ! Support your local businesses 🙏
A little hole-in-the-wall kind of shop, but I'm glad I found it. Rick does some good work getting a bike back in order. I'm a bit of a heavy-set rider which is less easy on the bike, so I needed a rear wheel straightened out with spoke replacement/adjustment along with a tube replacement that got punctured by one of the spokes going through the rim. Managed to get that sorted in just under a week (might be faster, but I wasn't in a rush), along with a spring tune-up. No weird wobbles or groinky-gronky sounds, and the wheels ... read more
