Absolutely recommend Dr. Shipe for Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is kind, knowledgeable, and very understanding. Sandy in the office is super helpful. I’ve been a chronic migraine sufferer my whole life. It’s been managed through meds. Menopausal symptoms brought the migraines back along with other symptoms of hormonal imbalance. Dr. Shippe and his entire staff have been wonderful. The results I received were astounding. As someone that had never experienced traditional medicine before I didn’t know what to expect. But I needed help and western medicine had done what they could and told me to deal with it. Dr. Shippe listened to my concerns and developed a plan of action that has changed my life for the better.
I want to leave a 5 star review now because I suspect I may not be able to continue with my care plan due to cost. I also want to be clear that the cost for treatment is my issue and not in any way a derogatory jab at Dr. Shipe. Dr. Shipe's explanations of my lab results opened my eyes to the root causes of my issues, which explains things in my life of which he has no knowledge of, which is a testament to his practice. Dr. Shipe is very attentive, kind, and thoroughly attends to his patients. I was anxious to try an alternative to the usual US health system, and am happy I did. He is never rushed, and listens. I am comforted by his pharmacy background, which shows his deep understanding of how variables affect the body. His receptionist Sandy is wonderful as well! She is always helpful and very responsive.
