2 pregnancies with Womancare and I don’t know what I would’ve done without this wonderful group of professional women!! The 1st 20 weeks pregnant with my 1st, I lived in steamboat springs and met with 2 local OBGYN there. Each time I left “the doctors’ office” I would feel so unsure and uncomfortable with the advice I was given, ie “don’t worry about (insert concern) you’ll be hooked to an IV as soon as you get to the hospital” language. All of the midwives were absolutely great! Sam did a great job helping me stick to my plan, and bringing my baby boy into the world safely. He is now 18 months, healthy and perfect. I will absolutely return here when we try for our next one!
I wish I could give less stars. Absolute worst choice I could've made was choosing them as my midwifery. I told a doctor that I would let them know if I was moving out of state for sure and when I went to make my appointment (which yes had been a little while due to the fact I have been taking care of my dying grandmother and didn't have a chance to get to an appointment) was very rudely told by the receptionist that I was no longer an active patient there and would not be seen or listen to a word I said and then proceeded t... read more
I used WomanCare for my first pregnancy and I am so glad I did. They are caring, compassionate and kind. I primarily saw Sam and she is just incredible. I always came into my appointments with a list of questions and she never rushed me or made me feel stupid. She always reviewed all of my options and made me feel in charge of the process. The prenatal care was great and her care during my delivery was just as incredible. I felt pressured by one nurse to get an IV right away and she was calm and explained all my options.
