Helpful staff. The merchandise is good. Somewhat on the expensive side.
I visited Sunnyside Dye & Knit Shop because I needed some specialty yarn for a weekend project. The space is compact, but the shelves are jammed with colorful skeins, natural dyes, and knitting patterns. The shopkeeper was extremely helpful and even showed me how to mordant the yarn for better color stability. There was a knitting circle group meeting in the back, and they were welcoming to drop-ins. Prices were reasonable for the specialty items. I’ll definitely return to pick up more supplies and perhaps join a class
Nice yarns. Sales help is hit and miss. However, if you get into trouble with your project. There is minimal to no help and the classes are a bit m pricey. I miss Skein
A lovely shop with beautiful yarn and plenty of natural fibers to choose from . Has everything you need to start a project or learn knitting/crochet. The attentive knowledgeable staff and a welcoming vibe make this shop a worthwhile visit. Overall a very pleasant experience. There is free parking in the back and on the side streets.
