Michael did great working with my hard headed red head of a son for two back to back lessons and stayed a few minutes extra to share his advice and experiences. Orions looking forward to another lesson as always with Michael tomorrow and any of the amazing coaches at Wolfe. Update: Shawn worked in lessons with us for two lessons in two days in prep for last nights states game. Sometimes the problem involves a child’s mental game and these coaches also work with the kids on that aspect. Thanks as always.
For years, we've heard that the Wolfe hockey development is the best place to get goalie training. After our first two lessons, it is true. Shawn Grant is an amazing coach and my son wants to keep working with him.
My son always loves lessons with Jason. On the ride home after this last one, as we talked about the lesson, he told me he said it's the best training he gets because Jason pays attention to the minute details that others don't that have such big impacts on his game and performance. My son, Sam was in Laurel for a tournament and we decided to get him a goalie lesson. The instructor, Shawn, was super knowledgeable and took the time to build a rapport with Sam and used drills and examples that Sam related to and understood. Sam was grinning from ear to ear the entire time and probably learned more in an hour plus from Shawn than he would in weeks of practice. I was so impressed that we came back for another lesson today after his championship game, which he had won with a 3-0 shutout.
