I took a wonderful class on stranded color work , December 6th Given by Moira Anderson and not only was it an excellent class, but it was fun sitting down with other crafters working on projects together while Moira was assisting class participants, it felt welcoming and homey. The instructor (Moira) was Kind, patient and a very highly skilled professional. I strongly recommend this class and I’m looking forward to taking others that are coming up soon.
An excellent local yarn store that seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but that just shows what you know. We walked in on their Monday stitch session and came out with (1) a load of had-dyed yarn from their house brand, (2) a project bag that we could have filled with the cool notions we bought there, and (3) a load of knowledge about the local area, the NY Sheep & Wool Festival, and breed-specific yarns. I’ll definitely be heading back!
Good selection of unique yarns and crafts, super friendly staff and locals!
Mainly local dyers, beautiful color ways, mega skeins, and punch cards. Love this store
