I called Winnebago community c.u. on a Friday at 4:30 I got a real person to talk to and was able to get all my mortgage questions answered. I eventually switched to WCCU and refinanced my home and car lone. I saved over $20,000 . This was one of my best financial decision .

I been with this lender for over a decade and I do not know what happened to this bank. Their lending department have totally went from excellent service to total disaster. I have always lend from this lender and who know what happened, they have been slacking in customer service. Don't expect to get any call back and don't expect any great customers service if you're not in the lobby. This used to be a hometown credit union. Today's experience with WCCU has changed my perception. Our child had a bank account set up by her grandmother, as a gift. Her grandmother has been a customer of the bank since the 70s and has trust in them. In fact she set up accounts for all of her grandchildren. Today my daughter found out they have been taking 15 dollars a month because of inactivity. This had dwindled the account down to nill. Nick Vogel, my loan officer was like having a big brother watch over me during the loan process for my car. He saved me a great deal in those add ons a normal customer doesn't tend to see when looking at the bottom line. Great guy to work with, would highly recommend him.
