These shelves are more than 80% Empty. According to the staff, this Winn Dixie is closing. In several months, there will be an ALDI in its place.
Our Winn Dixie stores all closed down in my hometown of Louisville, KY about 25 years ago. I was surprised to see they still existed anywhere when we saw the one here. I have really missed them. But when we stopped in I was sad to see that this one is in the process of closing down.
A great Winn-Dixie, so sad this one is closing. Good selection and a decent hot bar.
Store closing
I am very sad that they are closing many of the stores near me. It is always nice to shop there and I've been doing it for 60 years. I'm not a huge fan of Aldi because of lack of selection and the inconvenience of bringing bags or paying for carts and having to fight through the crowds that tend to go to all of the bargain shopping places we have in our County now
