I was long time customer over 20 years when the original owner passed. The customer service was never the same. One very rude decorator in particular. I have purchased many pieces of furniture over the years. Recently purchased a lower end couch snd after reading Several negative reviews called the owner the same day to cancel the order. The couch was still in the store and I was charged a $50 restockin g fee! ing of Ein.

I had a terrible experience at Winfield House last month. I tried to use a gift card, and they would not honor it because they said they "changed their computer system a few years ago" and had no way to verify how much was on the card. I have never used the gift card, and it has no expiration date. The owner and staff were quite rude. This is not the kind of customer service I know and love from downtown Lawrence. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.
I had the best experience shopping at this store. All of the employees were so nice. I went in looking for a birthday card for my friend and ended up leaving with a card, and the best smelling swan creek candle in the Sun Kissed Linen scent. I will definitely be going back there!
