I really like the staff and atmosphere at this store! You can tell they enjoy their job and care for their customers!
Came in to Winestreet three times over the past 3 weeks or so asking to see if I could special order a bottle of red wine. Each time I was told only one or two people could answer this question. I was given vague/scant information on when these people would be available in store. On the third try I left my name and phone number and was assured I would receive a call. Nothing. Easily the worst customer service of any wine shop in the Twin Cities. When I go there (infrequently), I am always the only person in the store. Staff in the front ignore you. Store is dark, dingy, and disorganized. Wines are overpriced and with Total Wine and More 10 minutes away, why would you allow yourself to be ripped off here? How this business makes its lease payments is a complete mystery to me, but I doubt anyone would miss it if it shut its doors permanently.
Always a good selection and knowledgeable staff. Time to try all the Octoberfest brews!
