Windy Hill fry pies are the best!! It's usually self service and the dogs will just bark at you, but that's pretty much it.
The journey to this bake shop is a story. We drive into an Amish farm and saw no cars parked, nor a sign telling us where the bakery is. We drive deeper into the barn, almost knocking over the family dog. There were some dogs in cages barking at us, not sure if it was to welcome us, or to warn us. We saw a guy who seem to work there, or owns the place. He told us that we went too far in, and said “turn around, it’s the red shed”. Not much in the self serve shop to choose from.
Attended an auction and bought fry pies (apple, blueberry, peach, strawberry, lemon). They are so incredibly delicious!!! Wish i lived closer, but will definitely find a way to drive back and get more.
I want to say I had one of your vanilla iced buns it was the best I have ever eaten
