My husband was in the skilled nursing part of Windsor Meade for rehab. The quality of care was terrible. He waited for 1 hour for someone to transfer him from a wheel chair to the bed. The entire time being in very bad pain. He was told we don't have time for that now. Requested water and was told you don't need water right now. At 10:30 in the morning he still was not dressed and ready for the day. He was constantly berated for the clothing he wore. We are very happy with our decision to move to Windsor Meade almost four years ago. We live in an apartment in the main building (Windsor Hall) with dining options, activities for every interest, and many friendly, social, creative residents residing here and in the villas on our beautiful campus. We have access to whatever level of care we may need now or in the future. The staff is outstanding, knows everyone's name, and work with a smile. My husband Gary and I moved in 18 months ago and this is the best place. We moved into an apartment instead of a Villa because my husband said we don't need to move twice. We can go directly to eat or workout without leaving the building. The staff here is very attentive and always does their best to provide you with the service you need. Gary needed physical therapy recently and we could get that right in the building.
