Dear Winds Transportation Safety Department, Today, while driving in Charlotte, NC, I had a near-collision with one of your trucks (Trailer #53038, marked “WINDS”). The driver made an unsafe lane change to the right, nearly striking my vehicle. I was only able to avoid a serious crash by using emergency braking. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could have resulted in severe injury or worse. One of their drivers would come over to our house and do drugs/drink and drive in his truck, and when I reported it, they covered it up and did not do anything about it. I am reporting them to the DOT since apparently this company will not do anything about it.
