Only two issues ... Cleanliness & maintenance... There were cob webs & spiders everywhere.. big n small.. The bathroom shank was leaking.. The bedroom closet was broken with spiders inside .. The owner was very sweet & helpful all the time. Location , area , view .. all to die for .. Just a little maintenance would make this a 5 Star .

I spent three nights at Winchfawr lodge with my partner and our teenage son. What a great find! The location is fantastic and staying in Merthyr Tydfil is ideal for touring the Brecon Beacons. Our chalet was very warm, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Gaynor and her son were very helpful and were available whenever we needed something. The views from the chalet are breathtaking. It was a home from home kind of stay and we loved it. We’ll be back and we’ll certainly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

What a view😍 Gainor what a lovely lady. And the place really clean. Really good for singled, couple or families.

I stayed at Winchfawr Lodge for the weekend as part of a party of five and had a fantastic time! Our host, Gaynor, was incredibly welcoming and helpful - her friendliness really helped us to settle in. The property is situated on top of a hill, creating the perfect vantage point for all of the stunning views across the area. The lodge was in immaculate condition when we arrived - very clean and well maintained - and had all of the facilities we needed.
