The Lakeland Mysteries are truly enjoyable reads. They are well written, well illustrated and have fun characters. I read 3 of Mr Cabral's books to my granddaughter who found them engaging and captured her imagination. She is ready for more. It must be said I too am looking forward to more adventures. These books will make great gifts to the youngsters in my life.
The Lakeland Mysteries by Warren Cabral are a must read for children age 9 and above (& adults too!). The stories transport you to the beautiful Lake District where sisters Isla & Mae (with a special sisterly power between them) get into all sorts of adventures and solve mysteries together. Great storylines and lovely description - each book leaves you wanting more.
The Wolf of Ennerdale - a well told story about two special sisters who help to solve an utterly original mystery set in the beauty of the Lakes. A cleverly crafted adventure, fast paced and fun. A wonderful read!
It was great to be back in the company of Mae and Issy. My favourite detectives!
