They "lost" my completed application. Ida (since fired) told me she could not get me a new one though I could see that every office door was standing open. I reminded her I filled one out. She replied, "I believe you," yet denied me entry. I went to Oxnard Recreation and that issue got straightened out fast. Certain perks are available at age 60, but staffers quoted age 62. Senior citizens can eat for free daily from Mon - Friday. You can play pool with friends. For the free meal, you need to get your ticket before 11:30 am
I teach there and enjoy what the center does for seniors. Hooray!!!
