I have been a long time customer of WH&B for my tax preparation. Up until last year they where great to deal with, all that changed this year. I called the beginning of Feb to schedule an appointment for my taxes and was told all the in person appointments were booked until after April 15th. I was told if I didn't need to be seen in person I could drop off my documents and my taxes would be done by the deadline. Come April 8th no word yet so I called. I was told they were in review. Poor communication. I decided to go a different direction and find a new tax person because of this and now she won't send me documents that I need, claiming I've become "disrespectful". It's just business, that's not disrespect. Not giving someone their documents when you said you would... Now THAT could be seen as disrespectful.

My wife and I dealt with Marcia Pelton, while she was great handling our taxes for the year 2022, she WAS TERRIBLE in the dealing with an audit I had with the IRS. Long story short, she never responded to the audit and so now this year the IRS went in and removed $5,000 from our tax return for the year 2023. She actually told me over the phone that she was going to respond to the audit and she never actually did. I am now handling the matter completely on my own cause I have lost ALL trust in CPAs.
