My daughter spent the night in the parking lot trying to adopt a dog, was told by one of the sheriffs that she would definitely get the dog and he would call the administrative assistant and tell her her so. When my daughter left for 15 minutes to get food 6 hours later another couple rolled up, claimed the number one spot after my daughter had been waiting for 8 hours already, and were allowed to adopt both dogs. Went to about the dog know as max today. Everyone was super nice and even offered to help me get him into my car. Max will now be called Anubis and this is his forever home.

They make it difficult for rescue& adopted out a dog n the middle of the night & lied about it🐾

The people here were so friendly and truly try to help the animals find good homes. They deserve a new structure, and we hope Wilson County will do the right thing and find the rest of the funds to build it. These animals and this staff deserve better! Bless you all for what you try to do on behalf of the animals.
