Extremely rude and unprofessional nurses—I don’t understand how they maintain their licenses given the way they treat their patients. We made simple requests and were met with screaming. For example, when we asked our assigned nurse to leave a note for the doctor about our loved one pocketing her food and drinks, she responded by cursing at us. My mom is in Willowbrook right now and shares what is happening daily. She has chosen to eat her meals in her room because she doesn't want to sit in a wheelchair for over an hour while she waits for assistance back to her room. She says that the food is horrible and that the staff has been inattentive to her needs on a constant basis. She turns on her call light and waits for long periods of time to get help to use the toilet. She is there because she needs 24 hr surveillance for rehab according to her doctor. The staff here shows no interest in caring for their patients . The worst facility I have ever visited . Everyone here including management covers for the inexcusable behavior of the employees . The web would not allow me to give it a 0 rating . They have made me sad and disappointed to the point of suicidal thoughts . I will be leaving without care because the care?
