This is an updated review were a rating has gone from 5 stars to 1. Quality has gone down. My family used Williams Tax for several years when he worked out of his home. Since moving to downtown Benton, the quality and helpfulness of Williams Tax Services has plummeted. This year I had to file an amended return and get corrections for easy changes I presented to the preparer. I was told the return was filed. I had to call several times, only to be told to keep waiting on the IRS as amended return take longer. Several months l... read more
Ted spelled my name wrong on 4 tax returns, which led to a deadline being exceeded, and I lost a $2,976 refund. While he was unwilling to make this right, he did say he would reimburse me the $515 he charged for preparing the returns. Update: I'm now a full year trying to get this fixed.
Ted's been taking care of my family ever since we moved back to Central Arkansas in 2013. Never an issue, fair prices. And his brother's pretty awesome too.
