I have been visiting a resident twice weekly for over 3 years and have been impressed with most of the staff. However, in this past year, another resident has been a shining star in my book. Patrick has been a real BUDDY to our 101 year old Marion. He fixes her TV, walks with her so she doesn`t fall, takes her to meals , reported to us when the brakes on her walker weren`t working ( and no staff discovered it ) etc. Marion has improved so much because of her new buddy! I would like to nominate 3 people who go above and beyond. The first person is Monica in the kitchen she is always working hard in the kitchen and helping out where needed in other areas activities,crafts. She fills in at the last minute for folk who call in At the same time always very pleasant with a smile on her face. The 2nd person is Sharon who works reception, does activities and is the kind soul who gives everyone a birthday card, takes up collections for deaths etc.She always looks after wheelchair folk who want to c... read more

My Mother was able to spend 3 months here before transitioning to LTC. As for any place or company it is the staff that creates the experience and these giving and supportive people are very good..... we are in gratitude for our time there....and highly recommend this location!

This is retirement not nursing home ( long term care). My mom is here and they do their best for everyone. As always in retirement places, one or two staff need enhanced training of working with seniors. But I would recommend this place to others.
