Dr. Martin is very kind and compassionate. He takes his time to explain everything to his patients UNTIL the day of surgery. Then you’re led into a new world. Dr. Martin performed a YAG procedure on me. There were approximately 8-10 other patients that day waiting for the same procedure. All lined up like cattle. He did everyone one at a time. Dr. Martin is a miracle worker. After my first eye cataract removal and monofocal distance IOL placement, I'm seeing 20-20. I elected to use laser-assisted surgery and now see no indication of my astigmatism. I'm actually seeing better at all distances with a slight blur with close reading. Eagerly awaiting the other eye being completed.

My parents were VERY comfortable with Dr Martin. He was kind, thorough, clear and very patient. He is originally from Massachussets but does not carry the negativity associated with many Mass residents. I only wish his office did not recommend the “retina MD upstairs!” The two “men” are polar opposites! Dr Martin and his staff were a JOY…..the “upstairs” office: yeah, like I said, the complete opposite….. Check out my Daniel Goldberg, MD review BEFORE you waste your time and $.
