My aunt was in the residence for one year until her recent passing. I cannot thank the entire staff and management enough for the wonderful care, compassion and kindness they showed her. She was 99 when she began her residence. She was happy with everyone who couldn’t do enough for her. She enjoyed the food and outings when she could go. Visited a relative at this facility, very impressed with the level of care and professional attitude of the Care Manager was very efficient and knowledgeable, easy to deal with, friendly and would recommend this facility
The majority of these reviews have been written by staff, no doubt cajoled by the powers that be, giving a falsely positive review of Willandra Aged Care. In fact, this facility is appalling and I sincerely hope anyone considering sending their loved ones to see out their final days heed my warning. The facility has barely any disability access – the only way to enter at the front is via a steep flight of stairs despite being a high-care facility, residents' rooms stare out onto rubbish and detritus (hoarded in the supposed ... read more
