Great views and friendly staff – This is a great destination for a sunny (or rainy) afternoon. We had good wine and good conversation with the tasting room person. They were very friendly and calm even though the place was busy. I'll definitely go back.
They figured us out--top-notch French winemakers find Oregon. – In Short Willakenzie is one of the newer wineries to spring up in Oregon. Combining modern technology with traditional winemaking methods, they have achieved great things in a short amount of time. Thank the French: Founders Bernard and Ronni Lacroute, and winemaker Laurent Monthelieu, all hail from France, bringing their Burgundian techniques to Willamette Valley.
willakenzie estate – Simply... excellent pinot noirs. The Willakenzie Estate Aliette and Pierre Leon Pinot Noir is the best Oregon pinot noir that I've ever had.
