I had a late flight heading out of Maui but thank goodness for the Awili spa - the entire staff, starting with Bill to Shine Karmena and sweet manager were so accommodating and warm. It made all the difference having this serene spa and hydrotherapy available to close out Maui. I received a shellac removal and reapply service with Karmen who was such a pro - before I knew it I had a perfect gel manicure from SOA nails, and funny story to go along with it. I got a prenatal massage by Rebekah and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. 10/10 experience, highly recommend
I used the spa in July and found the facilities inviting, very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the spa, steam room with menthol to open my sinuses and the hot tub. Sarah was wonderful and provided the services I treated myself to get. She gave me a manicure and pedicure and they lasted and stayed beautiful for a long time. I would give zero stars if I could. Not exaggerating that this was the worst massage I've ever had, and I'm a regular spa-goer globally and go to RMT massages monthly. Booked Connect 60 massage for two and my partner had the same experience. Our masseuses were two white women, one in her 40s, one in her 30s – wish we took their names, but we could not wait to get out of there. There was no education, or understanding muscle structure. I got a prenatal massage at 30 weeks pregnant which was much needed after flying in the previous day. Lindsay was amazing, she has a really great touch. I loved the belly pillow they had and was comfortable the entire time. She helped my swelling go down and I felt SO relaxed and comfortable.
