“I’m the only person who will help you” was our insane tidbit from the woman who answered the phone. I thought the recent reviews mentioning bad phone calls may have been exaggerated; I was so wrong. Made my boyfriend call because phone calls make me incredibly anxious, and this call was so terrible that he handed the phone back within a couple minutes so I could end it, and he immediately blocked the number. “No no no, you did everything wrong” was the way the conversation began with whoever answers the phone for this business. I understand that they deal with a lot of sad things every day, but I am a new mom with a 4 week old baby who called seeking help with 4 tiny bunnies that were dug out of their nest by my dog in my fenced in my fenced in back yard, and I wouldn’t expect to be met with so much hostility and genuine disrespect. She was so helpful. She advised me on what to do and where to take an adolescent yellow belly sapsucker that fell out of its nest (no momma bird to be found for hours). Thanks for your help, I can tell you really care about animals. :)

I don't know the name of the woman who answered the phone because she never bothered to tell me. I called in an attempt to do the right thing by a wild animal I found in my yard but was met with condescension and a very curt response. I see no reason to be rude to someone who's trying to do the right thing by trying to seek out a professional's assistant.
