As a client of over 30 years I was appalled with the service and disrespect I encountered this year! Dropped off my paperwork on Feb12th. Taxes were finally completed… with corrections needed on APRIL 3rd! Several promises they would be done on a date and then they were not. Absolutely horrible. Contacted him last year for tax services gave all the documents he asked and still have not received my taxes completed. Nearly a full year. I followed up on him often, almost every other week and was just given empty promise after empty promise. And that was when I was able to reach him. This guy should just retire with how much he is out of the office.
Extremely unreliable with communication. Very unorganized. His office is an absolute mess with papers literally piled on the ground. He finished our taxes that were incorrect and after paying them we received a penalty bill from the IRS. When we called him to inquire why this happened he did not return our call for days. In fact, he never returned our call we had to keep calling. Half the time they won’t answer the phone. I highly recommend that you go somewhere else.
I cannot urge you strongly enough to avoid working with Russell North. We had an atrocious experience working with him in both a professional skillset capacity as well as customer service capacity. Russell misplaced sensitive documents that were not returned to us until 9 months later, he was late filing our business form 1065 and we incurred a $840 penalty from the IRS, he was nearly late filing our personal returns and I had to speak with email him for hours the Saturday before the filing deadline which was Monday.
