Extremely unreliable with communication. Very unorganized. His office is an absolute mess with papers literally piled on the ground. He finished our taxes that were incorrect and after paying them we received a penalty bill from the IRS. When we called him to inquire why this happened he did not return our call for days. In fact, he never returned our call we had to keep calling. Half the time they won’t answer the phone. I highly recommend that you go somewhere else.

I cannot urge you strongly enough to avoid working with Russell North. We had an atrocious experience working with him in both a professional skillset capacity as well as customer service capacity. Russell misplaced sensitive documents that were not returned to us until 9 months later, he was late filing our business form 1065 and we incurred a $840 penalty from the IRS, he was nearly late filing our personal returns and I had to speak with email him for hours the Saturday before the filing deadline which was Monday. As a 30 year loyal customer of Wilder Business Service, my treatment for my 20017 taxes was unconscionable. I submitted all of my materials in mid-Feb. 2018 for my relatively simple personal tax prep. Mr. North filed for an extension because I was going to be out of the country until April 11. I let him know I was back and could come in and sign my return on time, but he said he would need a little longer.
