I really really love this place and everything Emily is. She is caring, knowledgeable and very empathetic to your needs. The space is incredibly relaxing and I appreciate that Emily takes the time to check in with you before each session to see what might have changed and how she can differentiate the treatment for you. The sliding scale is very helpful and I truly believe coming to see her is well worth your investment of money and time. I will be a long time client and will send anyone interested in acupuncture her way.
Emily is a true resource and an incredible asset to have in the Dover community. I've been receiving acupuncture for more than a decade and I can feel the difference when I haven't been in a while. Sometimes I just feel out of whack and acupuncture helps me feel centered again. Emily is wonderful, even if you're a little curious about acupuncture, it does not hurt to try... literally.
Word to the wise if you’re a new patient apparently there’s a bottle neck of traffic around 2:30. Needless to say I didn’t know I arrived 5 minutes late after trying to call and let them know I was in walking distance. I walked in thinking whoever was there must be with another patient, because no one was there to greet me. I waited 40 minutes. “My payment was taken due to the policy.” I saw no one! Beware if you’re new. I won’t be trying again
Reposting since Portsmouth Community Acupuncture is now Wild Roots!! I cannot say enough about Wild Roots community acupuncture! Emily is not just an amazing acupuncturist she is a kind, caring, lovely person as well. As someone with lupus and fibromyalgia it is essential for me to receive these treatments in order to stay off pharmaceutical drugs. Had my first appointment yesterday to treat neuropathy in my hands and feet, for the first time in a few months now I'm seeing a notable improvement in both. It's a delightful facility and Emily is wonderful, I'm looking forward to my next visit, thank you!
