I don’t appreciate being overcharged. I ordered 10 wings (13.50), medium chips ($5) and 1 bottle of water ($2) to feed a child and was given the total before I paid. When I got home and went to pay a bill online I seen that I was charged almost $26 which is a lot more than what he said. That’s dishonest and disgusting and we will NOT be returning and urge other customers to pay close attention when paying by card. You cannot see the machine and trust what he says is honest. I grew up in the area and have been coming here since I was a kid. The original owners were fantastic, but after the business changed hands a while back, the food just wasn’t the same. I recently came back craving some hot chips and noticed there are now new owners — and honestly, they’ve brought the place back to a really high standard. This chicken shop absolutely delivers. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and seasoned just right — flavorful without being overpowering. You can tell everything is freshly made and not just sitting under a heat lamp. The portions were generous, the chips were golden and crunchy, and the dipping sauces actually tasted homemade instead of straight out of a generic bottle.
