I had an uncomfortable experience during my visit to this WIC office. While waiting in line, I noticed a room labeled “Mother’s Lounge” near the restroom inside the nutrition center. Believing it was a space for mothers, I politely asked if I could sit on the couch. The employee inside responded in a rude and dismissive manner, saying she was on a call and appeared upset that I even asked. WIC needs to have better training for their staff. They're dealing with HORMONAL, pregnant and post partum women. Screaming at us and making us feel guilty for FAILING to breastfeed is beyond cruel and borderline abusive. The point of the program is to help and be resourceful. These women sound bitter and angry. Do better WIC.

the 2 stars are for the employees, cause they’ve been good otherwise I would’ve given 0 stars if I could. ever since the pandemic, they don’t give you a set time and day on when they will call for your appointment. it’s 8-4 so be prepared to sit by your phone all day!! & if I miss the call, I just have to wait until they call me back even if I call them back immediately, I still have to wait until I get a call from them. I have a newborn, Ive missed their call about 3 times, called them about 10 times, no joke and now i’ll h... read more
