Amazing place to be
We docked here to see the sites , we looked around the shops that were here , & it's a busy port

When the ship docks at this terminal, it looks as if the ship is right next to the mountain. It is kind of cool. We already been to the Alaskan Wildlife center nearby. So we only took an easy trail right next to the Whittier Creek. It was right near the terminal but the trailhead was a bit obscure, it is right by the railroad track across the terminal. There is also an interesting pedestrian tunnel between the waterfront and Whittier downtown.
