This person is a fraud. I had booked an engagement photoshoot 2 months in advance and a day before the event he ghosted me. We had moved all the way from Yukon for this specific reason and wasted so much time and money. Such an inhumane way of doing business. Be warned, do not book with this person. This was supposed to be a special day for us and he ruined it and we didn’t have enough time to find someone else.This person never sent me any further emails for confirmation.
Well, an unsuccessful attempt to get out of the situation 1. Editors take on the job because they get paid for it. 2. Clients were satisfied with the result of my editing, went on their honeymoon and haven't sent any corrections since. For such philanthropic reasons, you also get paid only after the final result is approved, you don't take deposits, right? He uses editors to work on his material, drags it out for months, and in the end doesn't pay for their work. A very dubious person.
UPDATED* - we’ve since had our wedding. Scott was such a joy to work with and such a lovely guy. I can’t keep track of the amount of guests who complimented him to us. The photo booth was also phenomenal and such a massive hit. He also scouted such beautiful locations for our first look, bridal party shots and engagement photos. My partner and I had such an amazing engagement shoot experience with Scott. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera but it felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. He was very professional and made us feel comfortable. We can’t wait for him to capture our big day!
