White Tara Retreat has a magic spell - the silence is intense and the quality of meditation I have experienced during several sessions over the weekend was far more superior to anything I have experienced before. Tara is a wonderful hostess and she is very thoughtful in ensuring you have the best experience. The woods all around provide an excellent opportunity to do some mindful walking. I had high hopes for Tara and her retreat, but alas I have never been so let down…and ripped off. Initially, I brought a client there who wanted me to help her check the place out. My client knew of my 20 years of shamanic practice and asked me to go with her and check out the center and Tara. I have to admit Tara was a bit gruff with my client on the first meeting, but we are understanding and forgiving people. But, you can only go so far, until you have to make a stand. The White Tara Retreat is clean, spacious, and has a positive atmosphere. I have been here a few times and each time I learn something new and helpful. I consider this space a save environment to "reboot" and a helpful tool in my spiritual journey. A catalyst to help keep me thinking positive.
Tara is an incredible hostess. The retreat we attended was so peaceful, loving and important for our lives. I hope to visit your beautiful retreat again soon..
