The manager gets mad at family members and takes it out on patients. Definitely shouldn’t be working in this type of setting. Scary situation.
The manager denied a patient recovering from heart surgery and needing physical therapy, a bed because of their dislike for their family member. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal, and goes against the Nursing Home Reform Act. A home can only deny admission if they do not have the right medical care or space for the person.
