I cannot say enough about White Oak of Waxhaw. What a Fantastic Team! From the Receptionist, Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, Dining, Housekeeping, CNAs, Laundry… on and on! I bet I have met 50 wonderful staff members. Each have shown their own sense of care, concern and compassion throughout My Father’s stay there. He started as a Rehabilitation stay, but his cancer and condition was proven to have been progressed too far. He transitioned to long term, then end of life care. Visiting a friend. From the moment you enter everyone is friendly. It is a cheerful environment. And clean! The food smells delicious. The rooms are large and comforting. It looks to be a positive experience.
White Oak Manor of Waxhaw was an amazing short term rehab experience for my husband! Having suffered a medical post-op spinal stroke, my husband was grappling with T6 paralysis and arrived at White Oak with little to no mobility, minimal independence and even less hope. White Oak is the place of angles. It you get in it is clearly a gift From God. My mom and dad and now sister have been here and everyone is kind, loving, Will help with anything. When my precious dad was dying he said at hospital “ Please get me home. I said dad we need help. He said White Oak is where I want to go.”The PT department is off the charts.
